BASE HIRES HEATHER JARMAN AS REGULATORY AFFAIRS DIRECTOR

Business Alliance for a Sound Economy (BASE), the Wilmington-based real estate, development and building lobbying group, is pleased to announce it has hired Heather Jarman as Regulatory Affairs Director.

As Regulatory Affairs Director, Jarman will represent BASE and its members on local, coastal, state and federal government affairs issues. Prior to joining BASE, Jarman was Assistant Director of Government and Media Relations at Ward and Smith, P.A. where she advocated on behalf of the Firm’s clients at the North Carolina General Assembly.

“We are excited that Heather will be rounding out our strong BASE team,” said Cameron Moore, BASE CEO. “As the development market grows and BASE membership continues to expand, we have a skilled, proven team in place to advocate for our members locally and in Raleigh.”

Jarman joins Senior Governmental Affairs Director Tyler Newman, who will continue to manage BASE’s day-to-day operations.
