Pender County Looking to Incentivize Low Impact Development
The Pender County planning department is currently working through language to create incentives for Low Impact Development in Pender County.  BASE has been involved on this issue from the inception as we proposed language to be inserted in the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan.

Staff presented this item to the planning board in a discussion format at their Sept. 13th meeting and will be bringing forward a complete text amendment for the board to consider at their regular Oct. 4th meeting.  If you have any questions or concerns with the amendment please do not hesitate to give your Governmental Affairs liaison for Pender County Cameron Moore a call at 799-2611 or you can email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
