Pender County Comprehensive Plan Gaining Momentum PDF Print E-mail

As many of you are aware the Pender County Planning Department is working through a complete update of the Counties planning and development regulations and land use plan documents.  BASE has been actively involved in many of the discussions and has been steadily working with the planning staff on numerous revisions.  We wanted to make you aware that their will be one more community meeting on August 13th at the Heidi Trask High School Cafeteria from 6:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.  The main sections that are being discussed currently are the Goals and Policies, Future Land Use Maps, and Land Use Classifications.  These sections will have a direct impact on the developmental and business communitty.  If you would like a copy of the latest draft policies please send an email to Governmental Affairs Director Cameron Moore at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
