After more than a year of diverse stakeholder input the Brunswick County Commissioners adopted the voluntary Low Impact Development Manual at their Nov 3rd regular meeting.  The voluntary LID Guidance Manual will provide the County with important voluntary stormwater management alternatives that may be used instead of or in conjunction with current conventional stormwater management techniques.  BASE’s Governmental Affairs Director Cameron Moore spoke in favor of the manual stating that "this manual will serve as another tool that developers, builders, homeowners, and local and county governments can use to implement Low Impact Development techniques and principles".
