New Hanover County: Planning Public Meetings on Future Land Use Map & Place Types

New Hanover County has released the DRAFT Future Land Use Plan Map and is in the process of holding public meetings to discuss. According to the County: “While the Future Land Use Map is not legally binding, it is intended to be a general representation of the vision of New Hanover County for the next 25 years created by the many citizens involved with PlanNHC.”

It is advisable to review the map with respect to your investments in New Hanover County.

In looking at the map, you will see shaded areas which are categorized in Place Types. The Place Types are further explained here

Murray Middle School – February 10, 2015 from 5pm-6:30pm

Eaton Elementary – February 12, 2015 from 6:30-7:30pm

Myrtle Grove Middle School – February 17, 2015 from 5pm-6:30pm

Wrightsboro Elementary – February 23, 2015 from 5pm-6:30pm
