Coastal Resources Commission Takes Action on Several Rules PDF Print E-mail

This morning at the Coastal Resources Commission meeting in Morehead City, the CRC took action on several rules:

Adopt 15A NCAC 7H .1401, .1402, .1404, .1405 GP for Construction of Groins in Estuarine & Public Trust Waters

Adopt 15A NCAC 7H .2101, .2102, .2104, .2105 GP for Marsh Enhancement Breakwaters

Adopt 15A NCAC 7H 2401, 2402, .2404, .2405 GP for Placement of Riprap for Wetland Protection

Adopt 15A NCAC 7J .0701, .0703 Variance Petitions

Stormwater BMP Update PDF Print E-mail

The BMP websiteBMP website has been updated with two new updates.

The bioretention supplement form has been updated to revision 5.
Also, the rainwater harvesting guidance document link has been added to the appropriate row.

As always, we strongly suggest downloading the forms from the website each you do a project to ensure that you are using the latest version.

City of Wilmington Development Review Survey PDF Print E-mail

The City of Wilmington is in the initial phases of evaluating the City’s development review process. The purpose of the evaluation is to gather input from identified stakeholders in regards to what works well and not so well in the development review process. Staff has prepared a survey to be used in the process staff would like you to participate. If you agree to participate in the survey you should know: All survey responses are anonymous; The on-line survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete; and We ask you to complete the online survey by November 30, 2008. The results from your feedback will assist staff to better understand how you and others perceive the city’s review of development site plans and help us target goals for improving our review process.
